So tempting, aren't they? I like the yellow one. But I think the blue one is not bad too. I love the tone. It's blue, but not that blue. Then, when I have a look again, it is RED that is best for me. It's so United, and it is so me. Love it! I've done some survey. It costs RM599 for 8Gb, and RM799 for 16Gb of size. RM799 for 16Gb??? Only??? I can grab an 80Gb iPod Classic with that amount of money! It's just that iPod Classic doesn't have that variety of colours. They only have black, or white. Itu pasal laa agaknya they called it 'classic'. Alahai...

EPL 08/09: Liverpool 2 - 1 Man United

It was not a good night to remember. United have tested their first defeat of the season - against Liverpool at Anfield. We have scored earlier at the third minute. It was a beautiful strike, in fact. A lovely pass by the new man in charge too. Then after the lead, everything has changed. United were not playing the same game again. Liverpool took control of the ball possession, and kept creating the havoc inside United's half. It was even hard for us to get the ball, let alone control it. And when we had that precious moments of touching the ball, we gave it away for fun. We can't even pass properly! Crap! To make it worst, Vida was red carded 2 minutes before time. He gave a not-so-awful tackle to one of the Reds and received his 2nd yellow. I can't really blame him for the 1st yellow. I saw it more like a sacrifice he made to save the team from a greater goal difference. There was no doubt on the 2nd card too. He was playing his game - as rough as ever. But this time, he get caught. We won't be having him for the next 3 games for him being suspended. And I can't see anyone else partnering Rio as good as Vida. Certainly not Wesly after tonight's performance. He was bad! He scored for the Reds 1st goal! He was not who he was last Wednesday against Crotia. Van der Sar was another to be blamed for that goal. Then there was the engine room to talk about. It has not functioning as it should be. Scholes was not as effective and influential as he was. So did Anderson. He was so impressive when he made Stevie G looked like a fool last term. But he was just not as industrious as always tonight. Then there was Carrick. Including him in the team sheet might not be the best decision made. I don't think he was match fit, especially not against a team like Liverpool. He has not playing any competitive game since the last time he picked up the injuries last month. Then he got that tackle by Alonso to his right ankle. And now he was out again, and is a doubt for United first match for the UCL. We move forward to the front men. Tevez was tireless as ever, Berba was making not much impact as we hoped, while Roo has been forced a lil' bit deeper to support those other strikers. The only goal by United seemed like there was major understanding between Berba and Tevez. But that was it, and nothing more came from these lads. Roo? Let's not talk about him, or else I'll fill this entry with nasty words. Playing 3 strikers has make no good for United. I've always think 2-4-4 is the best formation for United. And we've played it best during 06/07 season. Oh, I've always loved that season. Goals came from all over the pitch. Almost everyone bagged some goals back to that season. From that poor performance by my beloved team, there was only Rio that gave me some air to breath. He was the captain, and so he did his job. But football is not a one man show. It's a team game. Did I mention before that I hate the fact that we actually need Ronaldo? No matter how much we hate him for being a betrayer, we can't deny the crystal clear fact that his presence on the pitch is missed. I really hope he will get well very soon. I just can't imagine how am I going to react this Monday. They (my office mates) always love to 'bahan' me when it comes to United. And this Monday, they have every reason to do so. Matilah aku!!!!!

Was it a sign that United will hit a double again (because we also drew in our first two games last term - goalles to Reading at home, 1-1 to Pompey at Franton Park), or was it just a fact that they were not playing well last night? Aye, it was the second one, indeed.

Here are what I think about the game:

Teves was not in the final team sheet - not good. But his family is in grief, so we should consider that.
Rooney is back! With not much impact as we expected - and hoped, unfortunately.
The young Campbell partnering Rooney up front? Good debut for him to play in a competitive game, not good enough though for the team.
Carrick is out injured - for at least two weeks - after playing only 25 minutes. Not good at all. Who's going to do the running? Scholesy? Still the best passer in United side, but not able anymore to run up and down the pitch like he used to. Carrick is his best partner. He can pass - as good as Scholesy, in fact. He is fast, he can defend, and he's a good game reader too. Back to the main question - who's going to do the running? Fletch?
Can somebody tell me, why oh why John O'shea is still playing for United? Please, I need a reason. When Rafael was coming in for Campbell, O'Shea was push to the left back while Evra was going foward at the left flank. Guess who did the defending job? Evra! He went foward, providing Rooney with some passes. Then he has to rush deeper to defend. And what did O'Shea do? He gave away ball possesion for fun! Huh!

Alahai... Is this the same United that were crowned as the Champion of England? And the King of Europe? Please bare in mind that we are going to face Pompey away next week. Then follows by Fulham at home, after that Liverpool and Chelsea respectively - both at their territory. And I bet it won't be easy travelling to Anfield - it was never easy, in fact - as well as to the Bridge. The Londoners are yet to taste any defeat at home since the last four years! Haih...

Please, Sir... Buy a striker. You know that we desperately need a lone striker. We need to strengthen our attacking force. We won't have Ronaldo until October. And we can't afford to always lose or draw in his absence. Gosh! I hate the fact that we miss Ronaldo. But what I hate the most is that I'm on leave today! I do not want my mates to think that I've planned the leave because I knew MU won't make it, and that I'm scared that I'll be bahan by them. Errgghhh!

Enough about football. It is now about me, me and me. I have promised myself to take a driving license if my contract with the bank is extended. And it has been extended. So at the end of this month, I will register for the class. Next, I'm planning to buy a car. Then I will register for a sewing class. Yes, sewing class. But I'll start with the license first. I have to do one thing at a time.

Last month, I manage to finish reading a novel. It was a romantic novel, in fact. The Balance Thing it was, one of the Little Black Dress collection. I've bought it few months ago. And it was really FEW months ago - early of this year, I think. I can't tell whether it is a good book or not. But I do like the idea of Josh reading a book every night to Becks through the phone. I like it, I don't know why. Then I planned to get myself another book from LBD. So I bought Step On It, Cupid and Decent Exposure the day I went out with Mirilyeas at the Gardens early of this month.

It's not easy for me to buy that kind of book, let alone reading it. I always prefer to spend hundreds of bucks for a footballer's autobiography, or some books related to football, footballers, or anything like that. But here I am with my two new chick lit novels, and I am yet to read them. I just realised that I am not supposed to buy them. The new season is just started! I know I won't have time to read those books. I'll be busy watching and talking football. I will have no time for other than football or Manchester United. But I have bought the books anyway. And now I need to wait until the next May to start reading them. What a waste!

I just have no idea what the hell is going on with this lad. What's with the silver shot pants??? I guess the 80's beachwear is making a comeback, guys! And the skin tone??? He looks just like Nani! Uurrgghhh!!!

Call me a conservative, one with no taste in fashion � I don't give a damn! He is without any doubt a dangerously delicious sizzling hot creature on earth, but this is just not sexy� At all! Apakah neraka jahanam?!

Owh! Speaking of Ron, I just can't wait when Sir Alex will announce that this disloyal son has been kicked out of Carrington. We do not need him, Sir! All we need is you � Sir Alex Ferguson. Kick his ass out of OT, just the way you kicked the old 'Guvnor'! We're sick and tired of him! We do not need a betrayer on our side! Kick him out!

So far, there are four of us who, with all our sincere heart, don't agree with the idea of keeping Ron at OT. The FAB FOUR are Along, Babah, Mr. Shahrul (one of the manager at my office) and me (obviously, duh!). We really think that United should sell Ron as soon as possible, with as highest price as we can, so that we can spend the money to buy some new comers. Huntelaar, the Dutchman, is a good prospect. He's young, full of promises, and has publicly admitted that he would love to play for United if there's interest from United. Unfortunately, there isn't any. Most probably because Sir Alex is too busy trying to lure that Ron to stay as United. Semak!

And PLEASE don't buy Berba for replacement. Please oh please� He's good � yes. He scores goals and assists some more. But he's a big moaner too. He loves, apart from football, to sulk. He would complain about everything especially when things didn't go his way. I still remember how bad he was last season. He has protested publicly towards Martin Jol, his former Spurs' manager, when he was being subbed in a game. It shows that he didn't respect his manager. I can't imagine how he's going to react when Sir Alex need to sub him in the future. Again, sometime last week, I read about him being fined by Ramos for sulking during the pre-season training session � his way to hint that he's not interested anymore to play for the London club; particularly because he knew about the rumour that MU are chasing after him. Apakah perangai sebegitu rupa?! Oh please, don't buy him. No matter how good he is, he just doesn't have the right attitude to play in United colour. I always prefer someone humble with great manner. Someone like Tevez and Rooney. Someone like my little Scholesy and Keano, to be exact.

Semak giler mamat Ronaldo nih! Menyampah aku!

It's been about half a month that I am yet to feel a taste of football. I'm not talking about stuffing the object inside my mouth. I am totally talking about me getting so bored waiting for the new season to start. So lucky I am that we have Euro this year. Can't imagine if I have to go through the season break without any touch of football� Just like last year. Bosan nak mati, dei!

I can't say that I am a die-hard fan of football as like my brothers. I don't really follow each and every news about football, nor that I hafal all the names of the stars, or which club they're playing for. But I do enjoy watching the game despite the team that is playing. I can watch from United � Liverpool game (of course, duh!) to Sunderland - Wigan match. I really appreciate good competitive football match even if it produced by Liverpool or Arsenal. I don't think Chelsea is in 'our' league. They've come close� This close, but just not yet. I always believe the original so called Fierce Rivals always occurs among United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Speaking about football, I am proud to announce that I am a member of a Football Forum held by my colleagues. And it makes me even prouder that I am the only flower among the thorns! "Turuttut tut tuuu... I'm lovin' it!" Hahahaha~! A naughty fat devil I am, am I not? We'll have a little competition � a quiz, rather � almost everyday. The questions will be set by our moderator, who will also check the answers submitted and give marks for every so called contestant. He will set a table to monitor our performance. There are about 20 of us and everyone is trying to be at the top 10 � so am I. It's like our pride, you know. Scoring more marks means you are more knowledgeable than the other members. And it will be extra meaningful for me because I am a girl � who knows more about football compared to some of the lads.

The ones who are not in the top 10 will be bahan by the top scorers. So far I manage to place myself among the top scorers, though not in the top 5. But even if I am not, I don't think they sampai hati to bahan me. Its' not appropriate isn't it to bahan a girl for her lack of knowledge on football? Lagipun, I'm their baby; they say. But that doesn't stop them from calling me CHADWICK! Tidaaaaakkkkkkkkkk~!!!

Ya Allah! It's 1 a.m. already?! I need to pause now. I have office to go tomorrow with lots of works are waiting on my desk. I'll write my oppinion on the transfer saga sometime later. Chow!~

P/s: I don't understand why on earth did Noreen ask me to write something about Liverpool. Does she not know that Mancs never talk anything nice about Scorces? Does she not know???

United, please... Find a striker - a good centre foward; as good as, or better than Ruud van Nistelrooy; a brilliant finisher is what I meant here. Yes, we have Cristi. But he's not a striker. Look at Arsenal, and Liverpool too. Their top goal scorer is their main striker. And that's exactly what a striker should do - to score goals. We have Rooney, and Tevez. Aye, they've bagged some goals too. But please... Just find another lone striker. Saha is not reliable, at all... And, find a right back too. I really hope Brown will pen a new contract with United, remain at Old Trafford and be Cristi's assistant at the right flank. Not another midfielder, please... P/s: Selamat pengantin baru, Kakak Iza. Next will be Noreen & Adha, Insya'Allah...

Selamat berpuasa. Banyak nak ganti tahun ni. Haih...

Seperti biasa, mari bercerita tentang bola. United memulakan musim dengan sangat tidak memberangsangkan. Seri pada tiga perlawanan pertama, kalah dengan City, dan kalau menang pun sekadar mampu menjaringkan satu gol sahaja! Oh, tak! Tak! Dua gol dengan Chelsea! Eheh... Hari ini United sudah mendapat rentaknya kembali. Yeay~! Dan Ronnie juga sudah mula menjaringkan gol. Tak sanggup nak tengok dia botak season depan. Dengan mata yang cedera, Ron masih comel & sexy. Wuupppsssss.... :P

Tentang perlawanan dengan Wigan tadi, boleh saya katakan pengadil banyak membuat keputusan berat sebelah - dan of course ketidakadilan berpihak pada United! Cis! Rasa nak tarik-tarik rambut referee tadi biar botak licin! United patut dapat tiga sepakan penalti. TIGA, ok! Satu dari Ron dan dua dari Evra. First penalty dari Ron laa yang paling jelas. Sangat terang lagi bersuluh yang kedua-dua pemain Wigan tu tak ada intention pun nak kejar bola. Depa cuma nak jatuhkan Ronaldo SAHAJA! Sakit hati aku! Roo pun banyak kali dijatuhkan, tapi referee buat tak nampak saja. Geram betul aku dengan si botak ni!

Hari ni merupakan perlawanan kedua buat Pique. A promising young lad yang memang patut diberi regular first team football supaya dia expose pada competative match. Tinggi, tegap - just like Rio, and O'Shea. A hard player - macam Brown dan Vida. Pique boleh diharap untuk menjadi bek pertahanan United pada masa depan. Simpson - siapa tu? Saya tak pernah tahu kewujudan dia. At least Pique dah lama dengan United, cuma selama ni dia on loan ke kelab lain. Tapi Simpson ni, saya tak kenal langsung. Tapi tak apa sebab debut dia pada hari ni sudah cukup untuk membuat saya mahu menggali lebih lagi tentangnya. Gol dari Roo, si Simpson lah yang assist. Permulaan yang baik ;) Dikalangan pemain-pemain baru (dalam perlawanan tadi), saya kagum dengan keupayaan Anderson. Walaupun jarang diturunkan, tetapi apabila diperlukan, Anderson akan memberi 100% pada permainannya. Clean tackles yang dilakukan, assistance dan pelunag-peluang yang dicipta - memang mantap!

Benteng pertahanan United antara yang terbaik dalam EPL selain Liverpool pada musim ini. Selepas sembilan perlawanan, hanya dua gol yang gagal diselamatkan. Ketiadaan Vidic dan O'shea akibat kecederaan tidak menjadi penyebab untuk bek pertahanan United menjadi lemah. Bak kata manager Wigan, "Look at the players Manchester United have - when you want to stop one player, they always have someone else". Indeed. Tak ada Vidic, United masih ada Brown, masih ada O'Shea, masih ada Pique yang boleh diletakkan untuk berpasangan dengan Rio di centre back. Tak ada Gary, masih ada Brown atau O'Shea atau Fletcher sebagai pengganti. Kelebihan untuk United kerana memiliki pemain-pemain multifunction begini. Mereka mungkin bukan leading lads, tapi peranan mereka sama penting dengan starting eleven yang lain.

Cedera, cedera dan cedera lagi. Gary dan Ji-Sung yang belum sembuh dari kecederaan lama; Hargreaves yang hanya sempat beraksi dalam 3 perlawanan; O'Shea, Vidic dan Saha yang cedera kembali; Fletcher; Edwin; Brown dan Carrick - TIDAK!!! Ramai sangat yang injured ni! Dan semuanya first team player. Aduh laa... Harapnya Owen dapat kembali dalam perlawanan menentang Arsenal. Antara Owen dengan Carrick sebagai defensive midfielder, saya akan memilih Owen. Tapi saya juga mahu Carrick sembuh dengan cepat sebab dalam tiga perlawanan terakhir beliau, performance Carrick sangat membanggakan. Saya menanti gandingan Owen-Carrick sebab saya rasa Scholesy tidak menyerlah musim ini. Banyak kesilapan individu yang dilakukan Scholes. Tapi saya masih peminat Scholes, ya :)

Saha juga perlu fit kembali dengan kadar yang sangat-sangat segera. Walaupun Tevez dan Roo kedua-duanya menjaringkan gol pada malam ini, tapi saya masih merasakan yang Roo tidak sesuai digandingkan dengan Tevez. Sebab? Kedua-duanya mempunyai corak permainan yang sama. Sama ada Roo atau Tevez, kedua-duanya mempunyai kebolehan bermain di bahagian tengah. Dan itu yang dilakukan mereka dalam hampir semua perlawanan musim ini, Akibatnya apabila ada peluang untuk menjaringkan gol, tidak ada pemain United di depan gawang untuk menyempurnakan assistance dari pemain lain. Jadi Roo atau Tevez perlu dipasangkan dengan player seperti Saha atau Ruud - yang kerja mereka hanya menunggu bola di depan gawang. Tapi, entahlah. Ini cuma analisis peribadi saya sahaja.

Musim ini Chelsea bukan lagi pasukan yang perlu ditakuti - sangat. Kekalahan 2-0 di tangan Villa menjadi petanda kejatuhan mutu permainan mereka. Pengunduran Mourinho dari kerusi Pengurus Pasukan juga turut menjunamkan motivasi Chelsea. Betul, Chelsea masih bermain dengan kesebelasan pemain yang sama. Tapi tidak boleh dinafikan Mour adalah faktor besar dalam siri kejayaan Chelsea selama ini. Mour sangat dihormati oleh para pemain Chelsea. Even Drogba sendiri menangis apabila mendapat berita pengunduran Mourinho. Am, Drogba nangis, Am! Huhuhu... :P

Musim ini pasukan mana yang perlu diberi perhatian?
1- ARSENAL: Perpindahan Henry ke Barca tidak melemahkan Arsenal langsung! Adebayor dan Robin. Dan Fabregas. Tolonglah! Setiap match pun dia nak score!
2- LIVERPOOL: Torres. Rio dan Vida, sila jaga budak Torres ni!
3- MAN CITY: Micah? Mana datang budak ni? Tiba-tiba muncul dan tiba-tiba hebat.
4- BLACKBURN: Friedel the Octopus. Huh!

United pada ketika ini sedang bermaharajalela di tangga pertama. Tapi saya menjangkakan United hanya akan mampu bertahan sebagai pendahulu liga selama beberapa jam sahaja. Esok mungkin berlaku rampasan takhta oleh Arsenal. United mempunyai kelebihan satu mata namun ketinggalan dalam perbezaan jaringan (goal difference). Tapi United masih boleh mempertahankan kedudukan dengan syarat - Arsenal mesti kalah esok. Jika Arsenal seri dengan Sunderland, Arsenal masih akan meletakkan semula United di tangga ke-2 berdasarkan perbezaan jaringan. Untuk melihat Arsenal kalah kepada Sunderland adalah sesuatu yang hampir mustahil untuk berlaku. Arsenal mempunyai jentera serangan yang mantap, yang datang bukan hanya dari barisan hadapan tetapi juga dari barisan tengah. Pasukan Keano pula sangat-sangat bermasalah di barisan pertahanan, dan barisan tengahnya juga kurang mantap. Hanya Gordon sahaja yang boleh diharapkan. Tapi takkan nak harapkan goalie yang bertahan seorang diri pula, kan. Haih... Lantaklah!

Midweek nanti (mungkin hari Rabu) United akan bertemu Dynamo Kiev untuk pusingan kelayakan pertama Champions League. Harapnya boleh 'makan' laa team ni since Dynamo belum menang mana-mana perlawanan, dan belum juga berjaya menjaringkan walau satu gol ketika menentang Lisbon dan Roma. Selepas dua kemenangan, United hanya memerlukan empat mata sahaja lagi daripada baki empat perlawanan untuk layak ke pusingan seterusnya. Tapi saya mahu United mengekalkan rekod tanpa kalah (kalau boleh rekod menang sahaja) dalam peringkat kumpulan ini. Dan saya juga sangat berharap Shakhtar Donetsk dapat menundukkan AC Milan. Menyampah betul tengok Dida diusung keluar dengan beg ais melekat di telinga. Mengada-ngada! It was just a little touch, dan Dida sempat lari nak kejar penyokong Celtic tu sebelum terfikir nak jatuh dengan penuh 'bergaya'. Kononnya nak pihak UEFA siasat laa macam mana penyokong Celtic boleh lepas masuk ke padang, dan boleh laa Celtic dikenakan tindakan disiplin. Cet! PENIPU!

Baiklah. Cukuplah dulu. Sembilan perenggan, sembilan dosa saya kumpul. Sembilan perenggan?! Nampak sangat banyak benda saya nak cerita. Tapi tak sempatlah. Balik selalu dah lewat petang. Kalau nasib tak baik - tersangkut dalam kesesakan lalulintas yang menggila di KL - malam baru tiba di rumah. Teringat seseorang pernah berpesan, "Nikmati hidup sebagai pelajar sementara sempat". Waktu masih belajar dulu, saya sibuk nak kerja sebab saya perlukan duit untuk menyelesaikan itu dan ini. Kini, saya rindukan kehidupan sebagai seorang pelajar. Walaupun hari-hari ada kelas, tapi masih ada masa untuk bersantai, untuk lepas-lepak di Coffee Bean atau Roibo atau Gloria Jeans, masih sempat untuk lelap-lelap ayam pada waktu antara kelas, masih sempat nak surfing koleksi terbaru Coach, masih sempat mahu update haruman terbaru di pasaran, masih sempat mencari makanan di Projet pada jam 4 pagi, masih sembat duduk bersembang dengan Iza atau Syaz atau Julie atau Noreen di ruang tamu, masih sempat main mak andam dengan MIrilyeas, masih sempat bla-bla-bla. Sekarang? Jangan harap! Saya rindu semua itu. But most of all, saya rindu Mirilyeas!

Hmm... Rasa nak minum Yam Pearl Tea kat Roibo laa. Mana nak cari Roibo kat KL ni, eh???

Dan piala Pesta Bola Merdeka telah menjadi milik Malaysia. Kejayaan pasukan kebangsaan B-23 ini sebenarnya telah menjadi pembuka mata bahawa masih ada harapan untuk dunia bolasepak Malaysia. Kegagalan skuad senior ketika Piala Asia bukanlah petanda gelapnya masa depan bolasepak negara. Masih ada harapan kalau masih ada kepercayaan.

Selamat menyambut hari kemerdekaan Malaysia yang ke-50. Merdekakah kita sebenarnya? Apa erti kemerdekaan pada anda? Saya rasa merdeka apabila saya berasa cukup selamat untuk hidup di atas muka bumi Tuhan ini. Saya berasa merdeka apabila saya tidak takut untuk berpijak di atas tanah tempat tumpah darah kita ini. Tetapi kerana rasa takut itu ada dalam hati saya, maka saya rasa kemerdekaan itu belum menjadi milik saya.

Hari ini saya berjalan di tanah air sendiri seolah-olah saya sedang berada di negara asing. Hari ini saya merasakan warga asing sudah melebihi, atau setidak-tidaknya sama ramai dengan warganegara Malaysia. Hari ini saya boleh melihat bukan orang kita berada di mana-mana. Hari ini saya merasakan Malaysia ini seakan-akan sudah dikuasai (secara sedar mahupun tidak) oleh bukan warga kita. Hari ini saya melihat bangsa saya semakin mundur pemikiran dan perilaku. Hari ini saya melihat masalah sosial dan jenayah seakan sudah menjadi budaya orang kita - ya, dan bukan orang kita juga. Maka, sudah merdekakah saya? Belum. Kerana saya belum berasa selamat berada di 'rumah' sendiri.

Apapun, selamatlah kita menyambut hari kemerdekaan negara yang ke-50. Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Dan Khairy Jamaluddin sangat segak dengan sepersalinan baju Melayu putih, siap bersongkok dan bersampin songket.

Hari ini United telah mencatat kemenangan ke-2 buat musim 2007/08. Bukanlah permulaan musim yang memberansangkan memandangkan di tahap ini pada musim lepas United telahpun memungut 12 mata dengan 11 gol selepas 4 perlawanan. Musim ini bermula agak lembab buat United. Tetapi perjalanan masih jauh lagi. Saya betul-betul berharap agar Sir Alex dapat mempertimbangkan untuk mencari penyerang baru, lebih-lebih lagi selepas Ole Solskjaer mengumumkan persaraan beliau pada Selasa lalu.

Bercakap tentang Ole, perlawanan dengan Sunderland tadi telah dimulakan dengan 'guard of honour' buat Solskjaer oleh kedua-dua pasukan. Selepas 11 tahun berkhidmat dengan United, Ole akhirnya mengaku kalah dengan usaha beliau untuk pulih daripada kecederaan lutut yang dialaminya. Dengarnya, kecederaan Ole bermula ketika beliau membuat 'slide' semasa meraikan jaringan kemenangan semasa menentang Bayern Munich dalam perlawanan akhir Piala Juara-juara Eropah 1999. Sejak itu Ole menerima beberapa siri kecederaan lutut yang telah menyaksikan beliau terlepas musim 2004/05. Walaubagaimanapun, Ole telah kembali beraksi pada musim lalu dan menjaringkan 11 gol untuk United. Kecederaan terbaru yang dialami semasa sessi latihan pra-musim 2007/08 ini telah menjadi titik nokhtah kepada kerjaya bolasepak Ole. Selepas ini Ole akan menyertai pasukan jurulatih United; mungkin sebagai jurulatih serangan.

Jadi pengajaran yang boleh diambil - jangan meraikan jaringan anda dengan aksi yang melampau. Rio contohnya, suka benar mengetuk kepala pemain yang berjaya menjaringkan gol. "Nanti jadi bodoh!", kata Emak. "Tak senonoh!", kata saya.

Saya tertidur ketika perlawanan antara United dengan Sunderland tadi. Bekerja dari jam 7.30 pagi hingga 10 malam; apa lagi yang boleh saya buat selepas itu. Tapi berdasarkan kata Along, Gordon adalah pelaburan yang paling baik dibuat oleh Keane musim ini. Antara 12 nama baru dalam pasukan Sunderland, hanya Gordon yang boleh disandarkan harapan. Beberapa percubaan United berjaya dipatahkan penjaga gol yang tinggi ini. Dan saya rasa ketangkasan dan tahap keyakinan yang tinggi oleh Gordon telah membenarkan hanya 2 gol dijaringkan oleh Liverpool pada perlawanan lalu. Sunderland perlu memantapkan lagi kubu pertahanan kalau mereka mahu terus bersaing dalam Liga Inggeris. Selain Gordon, penjaga gol City (Kasper Schmeichel) juga harus diberikan perhatian musim ini. Selepas 4 perlawanan, hanya 1 gol sahaja yang berjaya membolosi gawang Manchester City iaitu ketika menentang Arsenal.

Syukurlah Saha sudah kembali daripada kecederaan. Mulai perlawanan akan datang menentang Everton, Ron sudah boleh kembali beraksi bersama United. Roo juga khabarnya sudah kembali cergas dan mungkin akan diturunkan untuk menentang kelab lama beliau. Walaupun United dibarisi bintang-bintang antarabangsa, namun ketiadaan Roo dan Ron dalam pasukan telah memberi impak yang cukup besar. Kembalinya Roo dan Ron harapnya dapatlah menaikkan semula rentak permainan United seperti sediakala.
